Wonder Game Migration to Polygon and Ethereum
The game will be on Polygon and NFT assets on Ethereum
Wonder Game will be migrating to Ethereum and Polygon Blockchain. We have been closely monitoring the situation on Harmony after the hack and the best option for the project will be to migrate.
We will be migrating the 7,275 minted NFTs from Harmony to Ethereum and the Game will be on Ethereum. The migration will allow our members to take the NFTs to Ethereum. The team will be building the migration ASAP and will announce the date when it’s ready for deployment.
The current minting on Harmony has been stopped — the remaining 2725 NFTs will be allocated to be available on Ethereum. This will allow our new members and our current member to mint the NFTs in our new ecosystem — helping the Wonder Game community to grow.
After the NFT migration, the Chapter 1 game that’s under development will be deployed on the Polygon blockchain. We are also looking into allowing our members to bridge the Character NFTs between Ethereum and Polygon. More details will be out later next week.
Why Polygon?
Polygon had the most growth in the number of GameFi projects in the last couple of months and has been in a good position in the industry to grow much more. Our team has a good relationship with the Polygon team and we have been in talks with them — they are supportive of our project.

Why Ethereum?
Although, Ethereum might not be attractive because of the gas fees the option for our members to bridge the NFT assets to Ethereum will allow our members to trade the NFTs on the biggest NFT blockchain and allow our community to grow here. Also, Ethereum is in the ICON Bridge pipeline — the bridge will allow members to send tokens between Ethereum and ICON.

The situation at Harmony is very unfortunate and sad we really hope everyone connected with it finds some way to tackle it. We have been growing and building in Harmony and had to make this hard decision to make sure Wonder Game and our community is protected.
