SHROOM is Here
The long-awaited SHROOM has arrived in the WonderVerse. Wonder Game has successfully launched the SHROOM token on the Polygon Mainnet.
Our ecosystem token, the mystical SHROOM has various functionalities in the Wonder Game. This past week, we released different infographics depicting the “Power of SHROOM”. In this article, we will go through all the immediate utilities of SHROOM!
Change Character Name
With the release of SHROOM, you are now able to customize your Character’s name. You can name your Characters anything you like, it can be your favorite anime characters, game characters, flowers, celebrities, or even characters from Wonderland. The only limitation is that the name can only be up to 32 characters, but hey you can use any special characters you want.
You will need 250 SHROOM to change the name. The SHROOM will be burned and from the ashes of the burned SHROOM, a special ink will be formed, one that can write the name in the Scroll of Eternity. Forever your name will be cemented, and a place in the WonderVerse awaits you.
The name has a much deeper connection to the WonderVerse and it’s story! Choose a name that you want to represent in the story!
LP Staking
Along with the launch of SHROOM, the team has also provided the initial liquidity pool of SHROOM/USDC. The initial LP provided by the team is 1M SHROOM and 10,000 USDC.
You can also provide liquidity in the SHROOM/USDC pool in Quickswap and use the LP tokens that the DEX provided in our LP farming — in our website — to earn more SHROOM. 40182.6484 SHROOM is awarded daily for LP, which is divided among the users who have provided the liquidity — reward is distributed on the basis of the number of LP tokens and when it was staked.
Single Staking
Deep in the WonderVerse, lies a Vault. The Vault is mystical, for every SHROOM you lock in there you will receive more SHROOM as a reward — that’s the magic of the vault.
The staking of SHROOM will be available in four different ways. Every lock timeframe has its fixed APR and maximum capacity. There will be a total max cap for the vault, and also per wallet. The SHROOM rewards will be claimable in real-time, and the distribution will be in seconds. You can claim your rewards anytime during or after the lock period.
Character Upgrade
You will be able to upgrade the stats of your Characters by burning SHROOM. You can train and upgrade each and every skill of the Character, however, the outcome is not deterministic — the madness of WonderVerse. The SHROOM cost will increase progressively for higher level skills. More details will be shared soon. This feature will be only available from next week. We will release more information with the infographics.
SHROOM Airdrop Update
Users have been earning additional SHROOM through various community events and Whitelist privileges along with the daily SHROOM earned by Character NFTs. After the SHROOM release, users can claim the airdrop of Community events and Presale Airdrop will after a week along with the Character update.
To claim the presale/whitelist airdrop users will have to stake a minimum of 500 SHROOM for at least 6 months in Single Staking. This is introduced to bring more engagement to the staking system.
Harmony Validator Reward Update
Rewards for the month will only be available after the cliffing period (lockup period) of 6 months. And then the rewards are vested over the duration of 3 months. This is done to have a smooth flow of rewards in the system.
If we look at the above image, the first cliffing period for the month of March ended in September (6 months), so now we will initiate the vesting of the Harmony Validator reward for the month of March. The reward for the month of March 2022 (500,000 SHROOM) will be vested over the duration of 3 months — September, October, and November, i.e 166666.666667 per month. Similarly, the reward for the month of April will only be available in October, where rewards are vested over the course of 3months.
