Maze Game: Instruction Guide
Phase 0.5 of the Maze Game has officially launched. In order to help navigate the game, we have this instruction guide ready.
Head on over to the Maze Game to start playing.
Before entering the maze, you will be taken to the character selection screen. Here, you can select your character to play the game. Depending on the stats of the NFT, the energy you have to run in the maze changes.
Energy
The total energy of the Character is dependent on the stats upgraded, more details here. 1 energy is consumed for every step taken around the maze. The energy pool of every Character is recharged every 12 hours at 0:00 UTC and 12:00 UTC.
Epoch Duration
The epoch duration will be 3 days.
The first epoch will start at 3 am UTC on 12th April. It will continue for 3 days. The epoch duration can be changed in later epochs.
Movement in the Maze
Use WASD Keys to move around the maze. Each press of the keys makes you move one step in the maze and consumes one energy. Your Score in the maze is also increased by one.
Press ‘W’ to move upwards in the maze.
Press ‘A’ to move towards the left in the maze.
Press ‘S’ to move downwards in the maze.
Press ‘D’ to move towards the right in the maze.
Obstacles and Shields
Watch out for a Rolling Boulder obstacle in the maze, a strike from the boulder decreases your score by 100. Avoid being hit by the ball by walking around the maze or simply press ‘K’ to activate the shield.
The magical Sheild spawns around your character and protects you from the strike of the Rolling Boulder. 1 charge of Shield is gained for every 100 steps walked around the maze.
There are various treasures and food items scattered around the maze. Press ‘F’ to claim any items you find.
Food items increase energy, and the chests are stored in the inventory. Chests and items also add to your overall score depending on the type and rarity of the item.
